BEL signs MoU with L&T

Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) and Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) signed an MoU during Aero India to continue to cooperate in addressing the needs of the evolving domestic and export markets for Defence products and systems. The MoU seeks to leverage capabilities of both the firms through strategic alignment, enhancing indigenisation content and collaboration using high-end and advanced technologies to meet domestic needs and enhance export prospects.

Anandi Ramalingam, Director (Marketing), BEL, and Arun Ramchandani, Executive Vice President (Defence & Aerospace), L&T, have signed the MoU documents.

BEL is a multi-product, multi-technology, multi-Unit conglomerate having products in the areas of Radars, Missile Systems, Military Communications, Naval Systems, Electronic Warfare & Avionics, C4I Systems, Electro Optics, Tank Electronics & Gun/Weapon System Upgrades and Electronic Fuzes in the Defence segment. BEL’s non-Defence business segment includes areas such as Electronic Voting Machines, Homeland Security & Smart Cities, Solar, Satellite Integration & Space Electronics, Railways, AI, Cyber Security, Software as a Service, Energy Storage Products, besides Composite Shelters & Masts.
