Army Day was celebrated as part of the grand Investiture Ceremony of South Western Command, being held at Jaipur. An invigorating display of the plethora of skills at the disposal of the Army was showcased at 61 Cavalry Polo Ground.  The Mass Display commenced with the helicopter fly past organized by the 9 Recce & Observation Flight.  The display also included demonstrations of operations that are being performed in war like situations, like slithering & casualty evacuation

The Chief Guest for the mass display was the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan Mr Ashok  Gehlot, along with  other ministers of the state.  Many senior Army officers & other civil dignitaries  witnessed the skill display.  Approx 1000 children of different schools & approx 700 NCC cadets also witnessed the display.
