ADS will be hosting 116 companies from across Britain in the UK Trade Village at the Farnborough International Trade Show, gathered to make the most of the significant opportunities for partnership and collaboration with the global Aerospace and Defence industries..

The Farnborough International Airshow 2012 has seen an increase in exhibitors from emerging markets as well as a strong turn out from the traditional Aerospace and Defence markets. The high turnout of the UK small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) indicates a clear intention to make the most of this opportunity and engage with companies from these markets.

The Aerospace, Defence, Space and Security sectors represented by the major UK companies and the SME community provide 1m UK jobs,  export £22bn worth of equipment and services, and invest over £3bn in research and development on an annual basis. The UK Aerospace and Defence sectors are the leading exporters in Europe and second only to the US in the world.
