Rolls- Royce at Singapore Air Show

Rolls-Royce has continued to demonstrate the strength of its position in the Asia Pacific region by opening a state-of-the-art facility and announcing contracts with new customers in this important and fast growing region.

The Rolls-Royce Seletar Campus, at Seletar Aerospace Park in Singapore, represents an investment of over S$700 million, and was officially opened by Singapore Prime Minister Mr Lee Hsien Loong and Rolls-Royce Chairman Sir Simon Robertson, on the eve of the show.

The Seletar Campus, which includes a Trent engine Assembly and Test Unit, a Wide Chord Fan Blade manufacturing facility, an Advanced Technology Centre and a Regional Training Centre, is the first to bring advanced aerospace high-value manufacturing technology to Singapore.

During the show Rolls-Royce won orders worth nearly $500m for Trent 700 engines and support services from customers in Asia Pacific. Philippine carrier Cebu Pacific and Fiji’s national carrier Air Pacific both selected the market leading Trent 700 and TotalCare® long-term services support.
